By creating an account, purchasing a plan or using Crete Guestbook, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy & Cookie Policy. If you use the platform for a business or property owner, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

Crete Guestbook is a digital hospitality platform that lets accommodation operators publish property information, share guest links, manage stays and offer communication or third-party service options. Features may differ between free and paid plans and may evolve over time.

Crete Guestbook is the technology provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not own, operate, manage or warrant a listed property and is not a party to the accommodation agreement between a property owner and a guest.

• You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
• You must use a strong password and keep credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and authorised users.
• You must promptly report suspected unauthorised access or misuse.
• You may not impersonate another person or create an account without authority.

Property owners and managers are responsible for:

• The accuracy, legality and safety of property details, instructions, images, links and offers.
• Having the rights and permissions needed to publish all submitted content.
• Responding to guest requests and providing the accommodation or services they promise.
• Protecting guest information and complying with privacy, tourism, consumer and tax laws.
• Keeping emergency, safety, access and contact information complete and current.
• Ensuring embedded HTML, widgets and external links are secure, lawful and suitable for guests.

Guests may use a property guestbook for information connected with their stay, submit requested details and contact the property. Guests must not attempt to access another stay, interfere with the service, submit unlawful material or misuse property-owner contact channels.

You must not use the platform to:

• Break the law, infringe rights, deceive guests or facilitate unsafe activity.
• Upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, probe security or bypass access controls.
• Send spam, scrape at scale, overload the service or use automated access without permission.
• Publish discriminatory, threatening, obscene, defamatory or fraudulent content.
• Copy, reverse engineer or resell the platform except where applicable law permits it.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Crete Guestbook a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, resize, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote and improve the service. You can end this licence for future use by deleting the content or account, subject to backups and legal retention.

The platform software, visual system, branding and original materials are owned by or licensed to Crete Guestbook. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the service under these terms.

Guestbooks may display maps, booking widgets, tours, transport, car hire or other third-party services. A booking or purchase is made directly with the relevant provider under that provider's terms and privacy policy. Crete Guestbook may receive a referral fee or commission without increasing the displayed price. We are not responsible for a third party's availability, content, fulfilment or acts, although we welcome reports of problems.

Free-plan limits and paid-plan features are described on the website or in the dashboard. Paid plans are generally attached to the account or property identified at purchase. Prices, billing intervals, taxes and renewal terms are shown before checkout.

• Payments are processed by Stripe or another displayed payment provider.
• Subscriptions renew automatically when stated at checkout until cancelled.
• Cancellation stops future renewal; access normally continues through the paid billing period.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed.
• We will give reasonable notice of material price or plan changes where required.

We work to keep the service fast, secure and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, provider failures, internet conditions, security incidents or events outside reasonable control may cause temporary disruption. Features may be changed or discontinued; material reductions to an active paid plan will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

You may stop using the service or request account closure. We may restrict or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, non-payment, security risk, legal requirement or harmful use. Where practical, we will provide notice and a chance to correct the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment, intellectual-property, liability and dispute terms—will continue to apply.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Crete Guestbook does not guarantee a property, owner, guest, external provider, recommendation, route, weather result or third-party transaction. Property owners must independently verify safety-critical and time-sensitive information.

Crete Guestbook is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost bookings or loss caused by content, third-party services or events outside reasonable control. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, aggregate liability relating to a paid account is limited to the fees paid for that account during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. The parties should first try to resolve a dispute in good faith by contacting us. Subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Greece.
